In Japanese, Zenchishiki means good friend. The friend that encourages you to practice, or chant/pray, in the traditional context. In modern times, this refers to a friend who helps you get on your yoga mat, or encourages you to come for a walk. It is the friend who is not afraid to tell you when your behaviour is out of line.

I dedicate this track to Anthony George, who has been my Zenchishiki for 30 years. May the light of Father Sun shine on your heart for all eternity. Thank you for your friendship.
