about

This album is the second installment of a four part album, which will be called 'Nam Myoho Regnge Kyo' when completed. Each word in the frase of this mantra has it's own individual meaning but as a collective, it translate as " I am the mystic law of the universe".
The previous (first installment) was called Myoho and is available on my Bandcamp profile and on all the platforms, such as Spotify, Apple Music etc

Renge means Lotus flower in Japanese. The Lotus flower is special, in that, it bears seed and flower at the same time and represents the concept of the simulteneity of cause and effect. In other words, all effects are created in the present moment, as we manifest our reality through the causal vibrations of our thoughts, words and actions. These causes are embedded in our Karmic cache and are latent in our lives, until the right circumstances arise for them to become materialised in our experience. This is why it is so important to keep our attention on our vision, our desire and what we want to bring to life in our daily lives. This is why the spirit of gratitude is so important, as it is the spiritual lubricant that allows us the connect with our true path in this life.

These songs (prayers) express gratitude to the forces of nature that have served to protect and guide us in our healing and alignment to self, others and the environment. My wish is that everyone who listens to these prayers and sings along, may bring forth the magic, beauty and joy from within their lives, which is our true state of being and our birth right.

With these songs I give grateful thanks to the plant medicines that have been my allies for 12 years, helping me to free myself from addiction to drugs and alcohol and recalibrate my internal world to health, happiness and connection to others.

I give thanks to the medicines of Ayahuasca, San Pedro, Iboga and Sacred Mushrooms for bringing me back to balance and creating these songs through my hands and voice.

I give thanks to the Huni Kuin people who have helped me so much in my journey to self liberation and health. They have helped me to establish the upward spiral of Eskawata Kayawai in my heart and in my life in general. They have brought me profound musical joy and have been the wellspring of inspiration for these songs and prayers.

It is in the spirit of Eskawata Kayawai (transformation) that I share this music, with the deep prayer that the vibration contained in this sonic art will affect our hearts and perpetuate the prolifiration of healing and upliftment to all who listen and sing along.

Let us meet each other in the sonic fileds of joy.

Thank you to Jonathan Stephen Simons, my musical midwife, who helped me track, mix and master this beauty.
Jonathan contributed generously to these works with his razor sharp ears, his lightning fast editing skills and his generous spirit.

Thank you to Zolani Mahola and Genevieve Heathcoate Marks for bringing the force of the femine to this album with their beatiful voices.

Finally, I must thank, from the bottom of my heart, my partner, Ruth Ehrhardt. She always has had my back, is always present for emotional support and encouragement in those moments when it gets hard to hold the vision. Bless you and thank you Ruth. I love you
